The Church of the Lord Brotherhood was established at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The church's founder, Ofosu Emmanuel's grandfather, was a visionary leader who sought to spread the message of God's love and redemption to the people of Ghana.

Founding of Refreshing Grace Outreach Ministry
After the passing of the founder, his legacy lived on through his family, including his grandson, Ofosu Emmanuel. Ofosu Emmanuel, along with Ama Koranteng, a dedicated servant of God from Ghana, and co-founders Jacob Gust, Evangelist Kwadwo Darko, Pastor Joe Ben, and Prince Osei Tweneboah, felt called to continue the founder's work and establish Refreshing Grace Outreach Ministry.
